Doja Cat and Rico Nasty are some of the most animated and entertaining new artists.
The track and video are both animated and full of style. Doja cat has a sweetness to her music that is eclectic but confident and sexy while Rico has a rapping style that is influenced by heavy metal and trap. So, it was interesting to see how they fit on a track together, They actually sound really good! I would like them to collaborate again, and I would like to see them perform because they both can bring their own uniqueness to the stage, and the fans (including myself) will eat it up!
Speaking of collabs...I believe that this is the first semi-major female rapper collab that has some buzz. I really hope that Doja & Rico have started a trend that other upcoming emcees will follow because the culture could use some major girl empowerment. Plus, I would love to just see more comeraderie in the hip hop game for females. They should support each other, not be in competition with one another cause there is honestly room for everyone.
First of all, I love the ode to Tia & Tamera Mowry. If you are a nineties baby then you definitely understand the reference and how cool it is to recognize two black women that were and still are great role models if you want to look at it that way. Those twins are not problematic, make their money, and seem like good wives and mothers. Plus, they both held us down as kids on Disney Channel, so it is only right to to pay them respect!
The song is about boobs but it's a very lyrically creative song about boobs! Shoutout to Rico and Doja for writing their own versus. Oh, and Doja co-produced this song, and the beat is fire! The song is perfect for blasting down the street in your ride when you just want to feel like that bitch! Because you are that bitch and don't let nobody tell you different!
Wish-List female Emcee Collabs:
Tierra Whack & Rapsody would be dope cause they both can rap their asses off, and the video for their song would be dope!
Megan thee Stallion and Kamiyah would give me the hood rat ratchessness that i so deserve! Ugh can you imagine!?! Kamiyah will give that westcoast rawness that is missing from a woman, and Meg will give that down south turn-up realness. So combine that and you got yourself a hit!
Missy "Misdeamor" Elliot needs to stop playing and do a feature on one of these new girl's tracks. She could write and sing the hook then have a fire verse in between. I don't think there will ever be a time where I don't miss Missy!
Trina should collab with City Girls and solidify that Miami bad chick co-sign because why not!
